National MD Pharmacology (NMDP) movement was launched on 28 January 2019 on social media. This movement concerned safeguarding the interests of medical doctors specialized in pharmacology/clinical pharmacology and therapeutics and promoting academic and research activities. Started initially with few members, the movement gained enormous momentum with the overwhelming support of eminent and senior pharmacologists from all over the country.
